talatchaudhry asked: Why do people use the word "love" so casually? The term love is thrown around like its a basketball. With out any weight or meaning.
Does true love really exist?

wishuponacrane asked: Do you guys know of the Blossoming Thought Project? They're a similar type of ambitious group, and I know that several people that participate are the people who post those posters with "You are beautiful" messages and "You can change the world" inspirations. They have a facebook page and a Tumbler too, I think?

I really love what you do. But I have a question- how do you not believe in God when what you do is the essence of Him?

I Need Some Love - Our Other Blogs pt. 1
Probably the most important of all of Our Other Blogs is I Need Some Love, a blog devoted to listening to the current life situations of its readers and responding through random acts of kindness (in some way shape or form).
My hope is to develop this idea into it’s own website someday, but for now, it is a blog where we receive stories and requests for kindness from those in need, and then...
CRANES. - Our Other Blogs pt. 2
We have two sub-blogs devoted to the spreading of origami cranes throughout this here planet:
Number One: The Crane Project, a blog who’s purpose is for readers to request a crane, and then for me to send it to them. Want a crane? http://craneblog.tumblr.com/
Number Two: I Found a Crane - I (and friends of mine/devoted followers of O.R.A.K., bless their lovely loveliness) have been...
How Is Your Day Going? - Our Other Blogs pt. 3
A blog that is open to hearing about how your day, your week, your month or your life is going at any given time or place.
Just need to say something? Get it out there in the open? Say it somewhere where you know others will hear it (well, read it)? Then this is your one-stop place to say it.

thefruitywalrus asked: Most people just don't hold doors, help the needy, or even say "Thank you" or at least nod.
It sickens me how loathsome people in today's society can be. Does it bother you? Do you think TRUE chivalry is dying?

lionslife-deactivated20110527 asked: My church petitioned to have a Random Acts of Kindness day in my city, Guelph, Ontario. It was to honour someone from our church that took his own life. I never knew him. But his acts of kindness will never be forgotten.
This does not have a terribly amount to do with O.R.A.K., but it is my first official film school film completed in my first semester!
I give you, Love and Zombies.
mannysavesyoursoul asked: I agree, just because we each have our own beliefs doesn't mean that we can't come together for a common good.

restingmybones-deactivated20110 asked: So many times you hear about people saying what's the point of committing your life to making the world a better place. I know I'm just one person and everyday you learn of more situations where perpetual pain seems to be inevitable. This blog reminds me of why so many people are committed to making a difference. That just because you might not be able to change THE world doesn't...
quartkneej asked: Last year my uncle came to visit my mom and I for Thanksgiving. While my mom was at work, my uncle took me to eat at Waffle House. When we walked in it was packed. There was one seat left at the bar and off the to right was an older man sitting by himself in the booth.
Instead of making us wait until someone else was done, the man got up and told us we could have the booth while he moved to...

Anonymous asked: I have a form of untreated depression that ultimately consumes a lot of who I am as the day goes on. I've often felt that there is nothing left for me, even at the young age I am at.
However, I've realized that there is something that can help me to fight the depression, and that is simply loving and serving others. I've realized that there is only one of me and...

loyalasadog asked: Among other things I try to do, I want to be proof that chivalry is not dead. I hold doors open for others. Not just ladies, but fellas as well. Especially if there's a large group behind me (large being two or more). If I'm traveling with my usual posse, I almost always lead the way until we get to a door, and then I hold it open.

Couple of things to report, oh Jimmy-one:
My friends and I have started leaving thank you notes written on napkins every time we go into a restaurant. Because of this, another friend, who WORKS at a restaraunt, has started slipping notes on napkins into take out bags. :)

allalittlemad-deactivated201110 asked: Whenever I buy things, I save the change.
And eventually that change builds up.
One day I picked out all the pennies.
And I walked around town, placing them heads-up everywhere.
On driveways, sidewalks, shelves.
I hope people found them. And I hope it gave them just a little extra luck that day...

du-draumr-argetlam asked: So, I decided to take part in the November Project...not exactly to record myself being kind, but just because I wanted to. And so on November 30, the last day of November, I was walking to my car in the morning to go to school, when this woman asks me if I was by any chance driving to the train station. She said she just woke up and needed to be at her daughter-in-law's house to babysit...

meganxcaseyx asked: I have posted some stories I have seen of acts of kindness that have inspired me in the past. I am curious, what acts of kindness have you had the pleasure of observing?
